11. DBx Connector Browser Extension
The DBx Connector for zzTakeoff browser extension lets you browse your own
Databuild catalogue and send items to zzTakeoff. It is designed so that your data never leaves
your own computer or your own accounts:
- Local processing only. The extension communicates exclusively with
(a) the DBx Connector application running on your own computer (localhost) and
(b) the zzTakeoff browser tab you have open. It does not send any data to our servers
or to any third party.
- Database credentials. If you sign in to your Databuild database through
the extension, the credentials are transmitted only to the DBx Connector application on your
own machine. We never receive, store or have access to them.
- Stored data. The extension stores a local pairing token and your
preferences in your browser's extension storage on your device. Nothing is synced to us.
- No tracking. The extension contains no analytics, advertising or
tracking of any kind, and it does not execute remote code.
- Catalogue and job data you choose to send goes directly from your
computer to your own zzTakeoff account, at your explicit request (the Send buttons).
Questions about the extension's privacy practices: info@takeoffandestimating.com.au.
